Get Involved

There are many different ways that you can get involved in NYCI, whether you are a young person, a youth worker, volunteer or simply interested in learning more about youth issues. NYCI has various working groups who advise NYCI on its work, many of whom currently have vacancies.

If you are aged 12-18 you may be interested in joining Dáil na nÓg. Dáil na nÓg means "youth parliament" and is a chance for the children and young people of Ireland to represent the views of all Irish children at national level.

Equally, there are many opportunities to get involved in international youth work, representing NYCI and Irish young people at international seminars and events, meeting young people from all over the world to discuss issues that affect young people and influence decision makers, organising an exchange or attending youth events in Ireland to discuss issues that affect young people worldwide.
